The student will be able to:

1. Describe the development of technologies that has resulted from the demands, values, and interests of individuals, businesses, industries, and societies.
2. Describe changes in society and the creation of new needs and wants caused by the use of inventions and innovations.
3. Understand social and cultural priorities and values that are reflected in technological devices.
4. Explain how meeting societal expectations is the driving force behind the acceptance and use of products and systems.
